    Summary The aim of this event is to enable delegates to balance risk and carry out risk assessment - using strengths/ difficulties model/ practical action planning and application in day to day practice. Hence it implements Andrew Turnell's work across the broader spectrum of social work and puts it into day to day context. This training is for Child Protection Conferences and interagency working. It supports the launch of Signs of Safety by Wokingham Borough Council in July 2012.

E-Learning - Safeguarding

All members of the Early Years and Childcare workforce are able to gain free access to the LSCB’s e-learning package for Level 1 training. 

This package is easy to access and work through and is appropriate for those staff who are waiting to receive face to face training, or those who are due a refresher (i.e. have not received Level 1 training in the last 3 yrs) and those who would welcome an update.
