Information about music provision in Wokingham schools
A wide range of opportunities for local pupils to make music are available within Wokingham. Pupils can take part in activities and tuition at school, at local music centres and further afield.
Many of the opportunities provided are organised by Berkshire Maestros (formerly known as Berkshire Young Musicians Trust). Pupils have the chance to work with students from other schools and with professional musicians, on a diverse range of musical activities.
Since 2012, music provision in the area has been organised as part of the Berkshire Music Hub, which is led by Berkshire Maestros. The Music Hub provides and coordinates a wide range of musical opportunities.
