Please note that due to the current coronavirus situation and guidance, most training courses for School and Early Years colleagues are now cancelled/postponed. 

Where possible, the latest information about specific courses/meetings will also be noted on the specific event information below, but at the moment not all the courses have been updated.

Before booking on courses, please read the terms and conditions below to ensure you have familiarised yourself with the booking and cancellation procedures and the associated charges. 

To book a course place, browse the courses, note down the course code, and book online via the link in the course description. Please note payment for courses will need to be made in advance of attending training via the online payment service. 

Remember to cancel your place if you are subsequently unable to attend. All cancellations must be made in writing to childcaretraining@wokingham.gov.uk

E-Learning - Safeguarding

All members of the Early Years and Childcare workforce are able to gain free access to the BWSCP’s e-learning package for Level 1 training. 

This package is easy to access and work through and is appropriate for those staff who are waiting to receive face to face training, or those who are due a refresher (i.e. have not received Level 1 training in the last 3 yrs) and those who would welcome an update.
