Out of Hours Emergency?
Tel: 0800 212111
In the event of an out of hours emergency at your school please contact the Council using the following out of hours telephone number.
Swimming Pool Operator Training
It is our aim to co-ordinate Pool Operator training on an annual basis, but only when adequate delegate numbers make the training financially viable, as costs are passed on to schools.
Should there be an identified need to undertake pool operator training prior to the commencement of this course event then it is the responsibility of the school to identify appropriate training and instruction is provided to employees to ensure safe use of any onsite pool facilities
There are a number of accredited external training providers available including the following:
Institute of Swimming Find Courses (swimming.org)
Stockwell Safety Home • Stockwell Safety
Please note, WBC are not advocating or promoting these courses. Schools book at their own risk.
Critical Incidents/Sudden Traumatic Events
