This two part course will cover statutory content and knowledge of universal safeguarding and the role of the designated safeguarding Lead

Both session need to be attended - 15th & 22nd July 2025

Who should attend

Childminders that DO NOT HAVE ASSISTANTS WORKING WITH THEM

If you have assistants, then you will need to attend the universal safeguarding course and then separately the early years providers designated safeguarding lead (DSL) course. The next EY providers DSL course is in May, Oct and Dec 2025. Course outcomes

Both sessions will meet the Sept 2025 statutory requirements for ‘universal safeguarding’ and your role as ‘designated safeguarding Lead’
