DSL Focused Topics
This session is specifically aimed at the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or/and DSL deputies within each childcare setting, including childminders and is free to attend, although booking is required.
This session is not ‘The Role of the DSL and your statutory roles and responsibilities’ so ensure you are booking onto the correct course.
The aim of the focused topic will be to enhance knowledge, continuous professional development and reflect on practice.
The course has two sessions 22nd & 29th April - both sessions to be attended.
Who should attend
Designated safeguarding Lead or/and deputies
Course outcomes
Designated Safeguarding Leads and/or deputies will enhance their professional development by focusing on a particular topic related to safeguarding practice. This will also enable the DSL to identify their roles and responsibilities within each topic and how this relates to practice.
