EY SENCO Induction
AIMED AT EARLY YEARS AND CHILDCARE SETTINGS
Training for new EY SENCOs in the private voluntary and independent sector in group settings for the under-fives.
This course runs across two days and both should be attended. 10th & 17th October 2024.

Who should attend
Early Years PVI SENCOs - new to the role, or EY PVI SENCOs needing a refresher
Course outcomes
An overview and understanding of the role and responsibilities of SENCO in an Early Years setting for PVI practitioners.
To be introduced to the key legislation in relation to the SENCo role.
To consider the key attributes needed to be an effective SENCo.
To understand the Assess, Plan, Do, Review process.
To understand the support available from Wokingham Borough Council.

Please note lunch will not be provided. Parking is at Carnival Pool Car park
