Free of charge for Wokingham schools - funded by the Wokingham SACRE. £120 per person for teachers from schools in other LAs, and independent schools.

This event, organised by the Wokingham SACRE, will be led by national RE advisor from RE Today, Ian Nicholson, and will include a focus on implementing the new locally agreed syllabuses, as well as considering RE in relation to the government’s Curriculum and Assessment Review and the new Ofsted inspection toolkit. 

It will provide an opportunity to share and discuss practice with colleagues from schools across Berkshire.

Course outcomes

Delegates will feel confident to:
- further develop their school's RE curriculum based on the new Berkshire syllabuses for RE
- ensure that RE provision at their school reflects the latest thinking on best practice, and takes account of the Curriculum and Assessment review and the Ofsted inspection toolkit 
- incorporate best practice from schools across Berkshire into their RE provision
