The session aims to help us reflect on how small shifts in language and perspective can make a big difference to how neurodivergent pupils experience school through the lens of neuroaffirming practice. It explores what it means to ‘say it differently’, both in how we talk about neurodiversity and how we recognise and respect the many ways people communicate. The session will also introduce practical tools to support staff in using language that feels respectful, validating and inclusive in the classroom and beyond.
