Gain an understanding of the importance of being trauma aware, through discussing theory and looking at the practical, hands on tools and techniques to support children who may have experienced trauma. This course has two sessions - 2nd & 9th February 2026, both should be attended.
Who should attend
This training is for EYs Managers, SENCos and practitioners who work closely with children in their setting.
Course outcomes
- Develop your knowledge and understanding of relational approaches to support children who may have experienced trauma
- Develop understanding of the key research and neuroscience that explains why these approaches are needed
- Reflect and improve on your practice, policies and procedures
