Laptop/tablet computer
Wokingham Children in Care are entitled to a laptop computer or tablet to use for homework, leisure, etc. The devices are provided with support for four years. Care Leavers that are actively engaging with some form of continuing education and have at least 1 year remaining of their course also have the same entitlement.

Support for most Children in Care/Care Leaver tablets and laptops is provided via Stone Computers. There are 3 options to access Stone support:

Support is available 8am-6pm Mon-Fri, via telephone or email (excluding Bank Holidays).
Those contacting Stone support will need to provide the serial number of the device as that is used for identification purposes.
A small proportion of devices have been sourced from other suppliers. Devices that aren't supported by Stone are supported by local company Waterman Solutions: 0118 324 1133 or support@watermansolutions.co.uk Support is available during office hours 8:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday. You may be asked for the serial number of the device so that Waterman Solutions know it is a genuine request.
Music Tuition
Wokingham Children in Care are entitled to free specialist instrumental or vocal music tuition if they request it. Care Leavers that are actively engaging with some form of continuing education also have the same entitlement. Subject to the availability of suitable teachers, the tuition can be on most common instruments such as flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, violin, cello, guitar or keyboard/piano. It can also be vocal (singing) lessons.
