SEND Local Offer

All schools must signpost parents and carers to the SEND Local Offer in their SEN Information Report.

The Local Offer is for children and young people aged up to 25 years with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families.

It helps parents, carers, and young people understand what they can expect from local services and how to access them.

Parents and carers can also browse the Local Offer Directory for local support groups, leisure activities and specialist support (add link).

SENCOs might find the following pages on the local offer particularly helpful:

What SEND means (wokingham.gov.uk)

What an EHCP is and who it is for (wokingham.gov.uk)

Support in school or college (wokingham.gov.uk)

SEND education options (wokingham.gov.uk)

Referrals for interventions and services
