Inclusion Innovation Fund

In partnership with Schools Forum, a ring-fenced budget has been allocated from the High Needs Block to support clusters of schools to tackle identified challenges facing pupils in the local schools.  Three themes have been identified through evidence gathered from schools, parents and carers and the voice of children and young people.  Clusters of schools or Multi-Academy Trusts are invited to bid for capital and revenue funding to establish provision to address:

Theme 1: Inclusion Provision to enable children and young people with SEMH needs to access education.  This could be through nurture provisions or development of approaches to Therapeutic Thinking.

Theme 2: Development of more effective models of transition planning and support for children with SEND.

Theme 3: Development of more effective models for reintegration of pupils with SEND who have been out of education.
