MAIC - Multi-Agency Inclusion Clinic
MAIC Information and referral forms
The Multi-Agency Inclusion Clinic (MAIC) is an advisory clinic available to primary and secondary schools in Wokingham Borough and runs fortnightly during term-time. Schools can refer to MAIC for advice and signposting to support pupils who are experiencing or at risk of experiencing long-term absence from school (due to risk of permanent exclusion, medical reasons, or any other reason).
The MAIC enables professionals from a range of backgrounds to share advice, strategies and resources in order to support the needs of the child or young person being referred. Please note, the MAIC cannot grant funding. For more detail, please read the Terms of Reference and Protocol below.
All referrals must have parental consent (please see the form below). If parental consent is not sought, the referral will be returned to the school; this may delay the scheduling process.
Schools submitting more than one referral, at any one time, must state their priority preference at the top of the referral form.
All referrals, queries and feedback must be emailed directly to the Children’s Commissioning Team (ChildrensCommissioningTeam@wokingham.gov.uk).
