Black, Asian and People of Colour educators are invited to a one day workshop. The workshop will explore personal, institutional and cultural issues of racially minoritised identities, experiences and racial harm.

The aims of the workshop are to:
•    Deepen understanding of personal identity and experiences 
•    Resist, navigate and heal from racial harm
•    Recognise racial biases and harms in school institutions
•    Re-imagine and reclaim education

Course outcomes

Participants will gain a deepened understanding of personal identity and experiences. They will develop strategies for resisting, navigating and healing from racial harm. They will be better able to recognise racial biases and harms in schools. They will feel empowered to reclaim education.

Other information

Lunch will be provided, as well as refreshments throughout the day.
