By attending this session you will gain an understanding of the differences between a fear of talking and shyness, ways to develop a pressure-free environment and strategies for support.

Any staff member wishing to gain an understanding of the differences between a fear of talking and shyness.

Course outcomes
Be able to recognise the freeze/fear response to talking. Understand stages of support in school from creating pressure-free environments to building confidence through small steps and gradual desensitisation
