Racial Literacy 101 for school staff
This introductory session equips participants with the foundational knowledge required to engage in the sensitive and complex issues of ‘race’ and racism and outlines the key areas that schools and education settings can examine to advance their anti-racist practice.
Who should attend
Any interested member of school staff who will be involved in promoting racial equity at their school. Places can be booked for up to 4 members of staff from one school for each course.
Course outcomes
A foundation of knowledge and understanding in order to begin conversations about ‘race’ and racism within the school context.
