This course will support colleagues to develop diverse representation in the curriculum; effective responses to incidents and issues of racial harm; and safe spaces and people, to enable all children to feel they belong in the school.

Who should attend

Headteachers and senior leaders; Racial equity leaders. If possible, two members of staff from each participating school, ideally with one being a person of colour member of staff. Pre-requisite for this course: Attendance at the Racial Literacy 101 course.

Course outcomes

Increased understanding of provision needed to ensure that all children feel they belong in school, and knowledge to enable provision to be developed.
