Therapeutic Thinking Relational Practice Tutor Course

The Therapeutic Thinking Relational Practice Tutor Course is a three-day training programme that equips staff to become Relational Practice Tutors, enabling them to support whole-school development through training and consultancy. The course is most effective when led by senior leaders alongside a team representing different school roles, helping to embed Therapeutic Thinking principles into policy, planning and practice. It focuses on understanding the feelings and experiences behind behaviour, including the impact of attachment, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), trauma, mental health and SEND, while introducing practical tools and resources to support a consistent graduated approach across the setting.
