Year 6-7 transition network meetings enable the development of common practice across the borough, and the sharing of local and national best practice, as well as research and resources, with a particular focus on disadvantaged, SEND and other vulnerable pupils.
Who should attend
Year 6 teachers, Primary headteachers and senior leaders, Secondary transition leads, SENCOs, Pupil Premium leads
Course outcomes
Knowledge of LA-wide transition initiatives, and the opportunity to contribute to shaping these; Strengthened knowledge of good practice relating to Year 6-7 transition particularly in relation to vulnerable pupils.
