Child Employment Officer
The child employment officer is responsible for ensuring child employment and child performance licences are appropriately monitored and issued according to the regulations and statutory guidance.
Premises can be inspected by the child employment officer where children are employed or where they are performing. This can be undertaken without notice. A report is always issued following an inspection.
Issuing of chaperone licences is also undertaken by the child employment officer.
