Description
Online training using Microsoft Teams for new and recently appointed Data Protection Officers (DPO) to help them understand their role.  Although aimed at those who are new to the role, it may also be suitable for DPOs that have been in the role for a while, but feel in need of a refresher relating to Data Protection/GDPR in schools.

This training is aimed at new and recently appointed Data Protection Officers (DPOs) in schools and will help colleagues to understand their role.  It will provide a practical introduction to what DPOs are responsible for and how other schools are typically managing the role.  The course will cover the key legislation relating to Data Protection/GDPR, policies and procedures that schools should have in place, sources of support, etc.
