Literacy Across the Curriculum
During 2012, the Local Authority and the Wokingham Secondary Federation organised a series of training sessions from experts in their field, on teaching literacy in subjects across the secondary curriculum, aiming to develop teachers’ skills in supporting EAL, and all students, to develop the language and literacy skills needed to achieve well in their subject.
This was a unique training programme and, although dating from some time ago, the materials are still relevant and valuable.
